Services for Florence Middleton Stone, 83, of 2063 Pandora Drive, who died Monday at a Boise hospital, will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Boise Fourth Ward Chapel by Bishop H. Eugene Carter. Interment will be in Ogden.
She was born February 7, 1892, in Ogden. she married Jay Gould Stone on March 18, 1914, in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. she lived most of her life in the Ogden area and moved to Boise in 1968.
Mrs. Stone was an active member of the LDS Church, served on the Weber Stake Primary Board and had been a Sunday School teacher. She was a member of Charter Chapter ED-DA-HOW Camp of the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers of Boise and the Sunshine Committee.
Surviving are a son, Lowell Middleton Stone of Ogden; two daughters, Mrs. Seaman S. (Opal) Mills of Boise, and Mrs. Roger R. (Grace) Sears of Gaithersburg, Maryland; three sisters, Mrs. Annie L. Pierce, Mrs. J. Glen (Laura) Blanch, Mrs. Myrtle M. Brown, all of Ogden; two brothers, Reuben J. Middleton Jr. of Whittier, California; and Henry J. Middleton of Ogden, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband..
Friends may call from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. tonight at Relyea Morturary and an hour before services at the Boise Fourth Ward chapel.
