Mrs. Emerson was born in Somerville on Dec. 18, 1918, and was a resident of Arlington for 25 years. Before retiring, she worked as an administrative assistant at Littmann Stethoscope in Boston.
She was the wife of the late Albert C. Emerson and Harry Brown; [survivors omitted]. She is also survived by many great-nieces and nephews.
Calling hours are Thursday, June 28, from 10 a.m. to noon at Christ Episcopal Church, 66 Fellsway West in Somerville, followed by a funeral service at 12:15 p.m. and a private burial. Arrangements were made by the Doherty Funeral Home in Somerville.
