Mrs. Margie L. "Momie" Hardy, age 83, of Oxford, died Friday, Feb. 10, 2006. Mrs. Hardy, the daughter of the late Everett C. and Lavada M.Reynolds, was a long time Covington resident and attended Trinity United Methodist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Harold Nutt of Oxford; sons and daughter-in-law, William and June Hardy of Branford, FL, Robert Bayliss of Oxford; granddaughters, Jennifer and James Bass, Brandee and Clay Byrd; grandson, Ethan Bayliss, future great grandchildren, Robin and Logan; sisters, Mrs. Martha R. Cole of St. Petersburg, FL, Mrs. Vickie R. Gazaway of Covington sisters-in-law, Mrs. Marydale Reynolds of Warner Robins, Mrs. Mary Nell Reynolds of Covington, Mrs. Opal Reynolds of Conyers and Mrs. Gladys Reynolds of Austell; several nieces and nephews; several great-nieces, great-nephews, great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.

Graveside services for Mrs. Hardy will be held Monday, Feb. 13, 2006, at 2 p.m. from Covington Mill Cemetery with Rev. William D. Bell officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home today, Feb. 12, 2006, from 6-8 p.m. Serving as pallbearers will be James Bass, Clay Byrd, Daniel Staples, Robert Bayliss, Bob Reynolds, Wiley Reynolds, and Ricki Corley.
