WATERBURY -- Harry F. Dinklocker, Jr., 74, of 33 Meadowlark Drive, died Wednesday, Oct. 16, at Waterbury Hospital.
Born in Hazleton on Feb. 20, 1928, he was the son of the late Harry and Ethel (Menig) Dinklocker. He had been a resident of Waterbury, Conn. since 1955.
He was the former owner of A-1 Auto Body in Waterbury, Conn.
He married Elizabeth Avellino, who preceded him in death.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II, serving aboard the USS Saratoga.
He was a member of American Legion Post 195 in Oakville, Conn.
Surviving are two sons, Scott J. Dinklocker of Naugatuck, Conn. and Mark A. Dinklocker of Waterbury, Conn.; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by a son, Robert J. Dinklocker Sr.; a daughter, Dianne F. Chasse; two sisters and three brothers.
