Verda, 83, was born to Earl and Elsie (Williams) Hosmer. Verda had four brothers and one sister. She graduated from high school in Keenesburg. She married Donald Dawkins of Hudson on January 18, 1948 in Keenesburg. Verda worked as a cosmetologist for several decades in Brighton. Funeral Service held at Brighton United Methodist Church, 625 S. 8th Avenue, Brighton
