Hawkinsville, GA- Funeral services for Robert Sterlin Carr age 75, of Hawkinsville, Ga. who died Friday, September 28, 2012 in Hawkinsville will be held at 2p.m. Monday, October 1, 2012 in the chapel of Clark Funeral Home with Rev. Sidney Davidson and Rev. Jeff Dykes officiating.
Burial will be in the Carr Bembry Cemetery in Pulaski County and will be private for family only.
Sterlin was born in Tifton, Ga. but lived his entire life in Hawkinsville. He was a member of Harmony Baptist Church. He was the manager of the antique mall in Hawkinsville and was employed by Pulaski Bank for twenty three years serving the last eight years as Vice President. Mr. Carr was also a twenty year veteran of the Georgia Army National Guard.
Survivors include his wife, . . .son, . . .grandson, . . .granddaughter, . . .and great-grandson, . . .of Hawkinsville, Ga.
Mr. Carr is also survived by his sister, . . .of Mesa, Arizona and his nephew, . . .of Apache Junction, Arizona.
Visitation will be held from 3p.m. to 5p.m. Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Clark Funeral Home.
