Mollie was farmed out to a Jewish family in Pittsfield, Ill. She learned to cook Jewish dishes and was a wonderful cook. She was a happy person, always laughing and so jolly. On a visit to her sister Jennie in Sedalia she met Robert Henderson. They were married in 1911. Bob was a plumber in Sedalia. They had 4 children.
In the fall of 1928 Mollie took ill and was sick a year before she died in 1929. She had what was then a rare disease where her body retained fluid. She was 41 years old.
