"ALLAN.- In ever loving memory of our dear son, Private Jack Allan, 5th Cameron Highlanders (Lochiel's), who died on 4th October, 1915, at Sheffield Hospital from wounds received in action at Loos on 25-26th September, aged 19 years and two days.- Interred in Riddrie Park Cemetery with military honours, where his worn and wounded body waits in sure and certain hope for the resurrection of the dead. - 22 Craigpark Drive, Dennistoun, Glasgow."
