Arthur Edward Czeczok was born on April 22, 1917, in Van Hook, ND to Frank Assissi and Catherine (Kate) Elizabeth (Breitbach) Czeczok. His family moved to Bismarck when he was a child. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Bismarck. At one time, he was employed by J.C. Penney in Bismarck.
He was married to Grace E Czeczok. Together they had four children: Terryl Ann Czeczok, James Craig Czeczok, Kathryn Mary Czeczok Wimble, and Mary Margaret Czeczok Taylor.
He married Kathryn Marjorie Camp on August 26, 1978, in Seattle, King County, Washington.
Art is survived by his wife, Marjorie; two daughters, Mary, and Kate Czeczok, both in Washington; one son, James, Washington; five sisters, Irene Papacek and Cecilia Tatley, both of Bismarck, Cyrilla Di Stefano, Palos Verdes, CA, Eleanor Gayda, Tonka Bay, MN, and Kathryn Carnino, Auburn, WA; two brothers, Herbert, Bismarck, and Alfred, Denver, CO; and three grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Catherine, daughter Terryl, and sister Helen Virnig.
Services were held on Saturday, March 1, 1986, at St. John's Episcopal Church, Kirkland, with burial in Calvary Cemetery, Tacoma.
