Frank Slack died at his home near Corvallis last Sunday at 8 p.m. He had been seriously ill for about two weeks, although he had been afflicted with a pulmonary trouble for years. The funeral was held yesterday from the Christian church at Corvallis and was largely attended by the numerous relatives and friends of the deceased.

Mr. Slack leaves a sorrowing wife, mother, and brothers and sisters to mourn his loss. He was about 34 years of age and a native of this valley, well known and highly esteemed by all who enjoyed his acquaintance. The sympathy of the entire community in which he lived goes out to the bereaved mother, wife and other bereaved ones in this time of trouble.

Frank married Susan (Jones) McKinney, 18 May 1890, in Missoula County, Montana. She was the daughter of Mosias and Mary Jane (Thompson) Jones.
