Oma Knotts Passes Away This Morning
Oma J. Knotts, 93, 1239 South B street, died this morning at the Dickey Nursing home after several months illness.
She was born September 11, 1878 in Franklin County, the daughter of Issac and Jean Washington.
She married Bert L. Knotts August 16, 1894. He died October 25, 1951. She was a member of the Pilgrim Holiness church.
She is survived by two children, Mrs. Everett (Ethel) Kimerly, route one Fortville, and Cecil Knotts, Elwood. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and 12 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral rites are pending at Copher and Fesler funeral home.
