Elaine J Steiner, age 85, of Reedsburg, died on Thursday, Feb 14, 2013 in the Sauk County Health Care Center. She was born on June 7, 1927 in Monroe, daughter of Walter and Elsa (Roecker) Blank. Elaine was a graduate of ?Reedsburg High School. On June 16, 1946, she was married to Robert E Steiner.
Elaine worked as an IMC secretary with the Reedsburg School Distrit until her retirement. She was a member of St John Lutheran Church and a member of the Hannah Circle. She was also a member of the Reedsburg Area Women's Club and the Reedsburg Country Club. She enjoyed playing bridge, reading, watching Badger sports and the Green Bay Packer
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Bob on June 27, 1999; her daughter-in-law, Dale Steiner; a grandson, Daniel Steiner; and a step-grandson, Tracy Farnsworth.
Survivors include her six children, Robert A of Milwaukee, Duane (Patte), Baraboo, Connie Braun, Milwaukee, Ronald (Eugenia) of West Baraboo, Laura (Scott) Holtz of Escondido, CA and Mark (Kelly) of Reedsburg; eight grandchildren, Rob, Erik, Jeffrey, Kelli, Kimberly, Phillip, Kyle and Cierra; three step-grandchildren, Trena, Treva and Trisha; six great-grandchildren; nine step-great-grandchildren; one step-great-great-grandchild; two sisters, Donna (Harvey) Terre, Madison and Mavis Lins of Princeton, IL; two sisters-in-law, Carol Steiner, Mazomanie and Christine Leaf of Prairie du Sac, nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.
