William P. "Hawk" Price, age 73 of Peshtigo, died with his family at his side on February 6, 2011 after a short battle with cancer. Born on July 13, 1937, he was the son of the late John and Martha (Schacht) Price.
He served his country in the United States Army.
Hawk loved spending time with family and friends, horses, hunting and enjoying life.
He is survived by his children:
William J. "Willy" (Barb) Price, Paula (Allan Irving) Price, both of Peshtigo, WI; Kristine (Chuck) Gerbensky of Crivitz, WI;
and his children's mother, Irene Price;
a sister Patsy (Bob) Drees,
a brother Jerald "Swede" Price,
his best friend and grandson, Jeremiah Mech;
12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and special friend Jim (Tena) Roubal.
He was preceded in death by his parents, 4 daughters: Donna Kamin, Rhonda Mech, Rebecca Haynes and Susan Price; a granddaughter Shannon Mech; 4 sisters: Margaret Holmberg, Bernice Butler, Joyce Dollhopf and Shirley; 2 brothers: Jack and Robert "Mush" Price.
Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Peshtigo, WI.
