He was the son of George Street & Ruth Catherine Derryberry Taylor.
Mr. Taylor, a retired truck driver for Wall Brothers Oil Company, Inc. Distributors in Memphis, died early this morning at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis after a long illness. He moved to Memphis about 40 years ago.
Mr. Taylor was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and belonged to Bethel Grove Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and Al Chymia Shrine Temple.
He leaves his wife, Mrs. Ina Sanderson Taylor, whom he married on July 3, 1937 in Madison County, TN; three sons, Ellis L Taylor of Memphis, Donald G Taylor of Germantown and Ronald L Taylor of Pleasant Hill, MS; three sisters Mrs. Ollie Yelverton of Mercer, Mrs. W J Pope of Bruceton and Mrs. Marjorie Swinney of New Orleans. He is also survived by three brothers, E.V Taylor and Clyde W Taylor, both of Memphis and John R Taylor of Dallas, and 7 grandchildren.
