Col. Bandini was a 37 year Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the California Air National Guard. He was the Commander of the 144th Fighter Wing, Mission Support Squadron, at Fresno, CA, at the time of his Passing. He also Commanded the 163rd Communications Flight at March ARB, Riverside CA, prior to his assignment to the CA ANG at Fresno, CA. He will be remembered by the many Airmen, NCO's and Officers he Commanded and set the Standard to be followed.
