Eloise B. Seyler, 90, passed away May 27, 2010 at St. Mary's Hospital. She was born March 3, 1920 at Centerville, Louisiana.
Eloise met and married Pfc. William Seyler, Jr. while living in Hollywood, CA at the age of 22. She worked in a war factory and assembled fuel line blocks for airplanes at the Adel Precision Products Corporation, while her husband was away on duty while enlisted in the Army. Bill was transferred for a short time to Wilmington, NC, where Eloise gave birth to twin daughters, LaDonna and Diane.
Bill was transferred to the West coast with the Army and Eloise and the twins moved to Reno, NV to be near Bill's sister. When Bill was discharged from the Army, the family remained in Reno, where they all enjoyed camping and fishing for many years. Eloise was a fantastic cook and enjoyed cooking even at 90 years old.
Eloise worked in Reno as a mechanical assembler at Lynch Communicator Systems til her retirement.
Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Seyler; daughters LaDonna Haskins and Diane McFarland.
She is survived by grandsons, Steven Fletcher and Ronnie McFarland; five great-grandchildren; one niece and numerous close friends.
She also leaves behind two very special friends, Irene LaMotte and Donna Benbow, who will miss Eloise very much. Their kindness and generous help to Eloise and LaDonna in these past months meant so much.
At Eloise's wishes, there will no services. Private inurnment will be at Mountain View Mausoleum, in Reno. Remembrances may be made to your favorite charity.
