Richard L. Hollembeak, 64, of Blue springs, MO passed away September 30, 2012 at Centerpoint Hospital. Memorial services for Richard will be 2:30 pm, Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Timothy Lutheran Church, 425 NW R.D. Mize Rd., Blue Springs, MO with visitation one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers contributions in memory of Richard may be made to Timothy Lutheran Church or the Parkinson's disease Foundation.

He was born December 28, 1947 in Mexico, MO to Bernard and Eloise (Wagner) Hollembeak. He was a graduate of the University of Central Missouri in Warrensburg, MO and a veteran of the US Coast Guard. He was united in marriage to Kathleen Eckhoff on July 27, 1974, she survives of the home. Richard was an IT specialist with the IRS retiring in 2011. He was a member of Timothy Lutheran Church. He was a Cardinals Baseball fan, A Missouri basketball fan, and a pet lover. He was preceded in death by his parents.

In addition to his wife, Kathleen, he is survived by his daughter, Heather Henning and Husband Joel of Kansas City, MO; brothers, John L. Hollembeak of Newark, DE, and Harry Hollembeak of Safety Harbor, FL; step-brother John C. Hollembeak of Columbia, MO.
