Susan Anderson Wentworth was born 14 Sep 1823, the 3rd of 9 children to John Heard Wentworth and Mary "Polly" Spencer. Susan married Eli Collins on 6 Feb 1842 at Knoxville, Knox Co., IL. They were the parents of 10 children; Mary Esther 1843-1927, Charles Wesley 1846-1846, Harvey Benjamin 1847-1848, Sarah Ellen "Nellie" 1852-1920, Horace Edmund "Ed" 1855-1934, Willis Wilmore 1857-1923, Dora Adeline "Addie" 1860-1927, Jesse Washington 1863-1936, Anna Cibelia 1865-1948, and Clarence Lemuel 1867-1867. Susan's obituary states she was buried next to her husband, Eli Collins but there is no stone. (Bio provided by F.A.G. member, Louise LaRue #4687116, on 29 Dec. 2013)
