Doris E. Adkerson, age 83, of Brazil, passed away early Tuesday morning, Nov. 9, 2010, in the Exceptional Living Center in Brazil. Born May 11, 1927, in Terre Haute, she was the daughter of John D. Tiley and Nelly P. (Zeigler) Tiley. She married Harry Adkerson, and he preceded her in death. Doris was a homemaker.
Survivors include a daughter, Connie Cook and husband Dean of Brazil; a son, John F. Adkerson of Freemont, Neb.; a grandson, John Scott Adkerson and wife Sherri of Cloverdale; and several nieces and nephews. She also was preceded in death by her parents and five brothers.
Burial will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Roselawn Memorial Park. There are no services scheduled. Roselawn Funeral Home, 7500 N. Clinton St., assisted with arrangements. Contact on line at:
