Mary C. Abdnour, 83, of 107 Washington Street in Streator, passed away at St. Mary's Hospital on June 1, 1966 where she had been a patient for one day. She had been in failing health for a year.
She was born in Lebanon, a daughter of Essau and Futha (Massad) Ayoub. She married Louis Abdnour on June 19, 1905 in Springfield. She was a retired grocery store operator. She was a member of St. Anthony's Church and had resided in Streator for 60 years.
Survivors include two sons: Richard G. Abdnour and Roy Abdnour, both of Streator; 15 grandchildren; one sister: Frieda Saied of Wilmington, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1943, one daughter: Louise, in infancy, one son: Ralph; and two brothers: Louis and Tuofie Ayoub.
