William Richard "Bill" Sharp, 88, of Corpus Christi, Texas passed away Thursday, January 7, 2010 in a local hospital. He was born March 24, 1921 in Robstown, Texas to Paschal Kellett and Rosalie Hafer Sharp. Bill was a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Army Air Corp during WWII, retired from CCAD and was a partner in Jim Brace Tire Company.

He was a member of Norton Street church of Christ and the Society for the Preservation and Encouragement of Barbershop Quartet Singing in America. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Becky Sharp of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughters, Nancy (Rodney) Howald of Sugar Land, Texas, and Beckilu "Becki" (Paul) Dannels of Goliad, Texas; his son, David (Jan) Sharp of Kerrville, Texas; his brother, Jack (Kaffy) Sharp of Canyon Lake, Texas; his seven grandchildren, Kimberly (Lewis) Wilks of Sugar Land, Texas, Kelly (Christopher) Leverett of Plano, Texas, Christian (Chanda) Howald of Oakley, California, Wendi (Rusty) Walker of Plaquemine, Louisiana, James Sharp of Pleasanton, Texas, Jacob Dannels and Heather Dannels of Goliad, Texas; eight great grandchildren, Berkeley Wilks, Braxton Wilks, Cade Leverett, Callie Anne Leverett, Canon Leverett, Hadley Howald, Aydin Featherston and Maci Featherston.
