Oliver B. Iverson, 82, town of
Sherry, died at 12:05 p.m. today
at his home after a lingering ill-
ness.
Funeral services will be held
at 3 p.m. Monday at St. Luke's
Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Sherry, the Rev. C. Scheiderer
officiating. Burial will be in the
parish cemetery.
Friends may call at Taylor's
Funeral Home after 7 p.m. Sat-
urday.

Evangelical Lutheran Church,
Sherry, for Oliver B. Iverson, 82,
town of Sherry, who died Friday
at 12:05 p.m. at his home follow-
ing a lingering illness. The Rev.
C. Scheiderer will officiate.
A retired farmer and a former
treasurer of the town of Sherry,
Mr. Iverson was born May 31,
1878, at Aldon, Iowa, the son of
and Mrs. Jacob J. Iverson.
The family moved to La Fayette
County when he was six and in
1901, Mr. Iverson came to Wood
County and had resided on the
farm in Sherry ever since. He
married Lena Jantz on Nov. 20,
1906.
Surviving relatives are one
daughter, Mrs. Frederick C. Mill-
er, 741 10th St. S.; five sons, Har-
old J., Sherry; Arthur J., Pitts-
ville, Eldon O., Janesville; Law-
rence 0., 1210 Dewey St., and
Merrill R., Vesper; two sisters,
Mrs. Amos Johnson, Rockford,
Ill., and Mrs. Arthur Vanatta,
Alexandria, La.; 13 grandchildren,
and four great-grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Taylor
Funeral Home until noon Monday
and at the church from 1 p.m.
until time of services.
