Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Holy Family Convent. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Gerald Walker O.F.M. Cap. and burial will be in Holy Family Cemetery.
Sister Ann Frances was born Mary Louise Gamble, at Ironwood, Mich., daughter of the late Edward A. and Albertine Ethier Gamble. She entered the convent Sept. 8, 1935 and professed her vows Aug. 15, 1939. Sister Ann Frances received her B.A. degree at Holy Family College with Education as Social Science and her M.A. degree at Catholic University, Washington, D.C. in Business Education and English. She taught at Wellston, Delaware, Ohio, Appleton, St. Boniface, Manitowoc, Kewaunee, West Wrights Town, Potosi, Tennyson, Wis., Yuma Immaculate Conception, St. Willibrord, Chicago. Since 1957 she has been teaching in various high schools.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, a sister and brother-in-law, Margaret and Joseph Owen, Peggy and Stephen and an aunt, Miss Clara Ethier all formerly of Ironwood, Mich.
Friends may call at Holy Family Convent, 7:30 to 9 o'clock this Monday evening, where a memorial service will be 7 o'clock in the chapel. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
