Rudolph was born in a settlement near Belle Plaine, MN called "Big Woods" to Rev and Mrs John Albrecht. The family moved to Acoma Twp when Rudolph was 8 where Rev John served as paster of Acoma Lutheran Church for 28 years.
On October 26, 1911, he married Ida Eva Martha Riesberg of Hutchinson. In 1914, he moved back to Hutchinson and his son, Daniel, was born on May 23. At Hutchinson, Rudolph pursued a triple business endeavor in tires and insurance/real estate and assumed management of his inlaws Park Hotel.
Rudolph passed away on his wedding anniversary in 1940 from Hodgkin's disease.
