Harry Johnson Amos 1922 - 2008 Harry J. Amos was born 29 June 1922 to Harry J. and Grace (Babb) Amos at Deer Creek Falls, Cass County, Indiana. He attended school in Kokomo, IN and graduated from high school in Burnettsville, IN with the class of 1940. In September of the same year he enlisted in the US Navy remaining for 26 years. During his naval career he was a veteran of WWII, the Korean War, the Vietnam War and retired as AFCM.
On 18 August 1956 he married June E. Rich and together had sons
Harry requested no services and cremation by the Neptune Society with his ashes scattered at sea. Donations may be made in his memory to the Naval Memorial Lone Sailor Fund
