John Valton Butler, Jr., age 78, passed away on Saturday, October 6, 2012, in North Richland Hills, Texas. He was born on November 27, 1933, in Gorman, Texas to John V. Butler, Sr. and Elmer V. (Reese) Butler.
He married Elsie Barnes in Comanche, Texas. For forty-five years John worked as an automobiles mechanic. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Elsie Butler. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles Cecil Butler.
A graveside service for John Valton Butler Jr. will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, 2012 at Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche, Texas with the Rev. Kyle Densmore officiating.
