Mr Eamer was a resident of Ogdensburg for 35 years, leaving there abt 1936 when he retired and going to Morristown to live. His health had gradually declined since his retirement. A native of Cornwall, Ontario, he moved to Ogdensburg as a young man. His wife, the former Miss Cassie Sutherland of Cornwall, died 6 April 1929. The Eamer home was at 1121 Knox Street. Mr Eamer was a member of St John's Church.
Surviving besides an adopted daughter, Mrs W H Patterson of Ogdensburg, was a grandson, Bernard C Arms of Birmingham, Alabama and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services, were held from the Ramsdell-Ewart Funeral Home, 16 March Saturday at 4 p.m. The Rev Charles E Kennedy will officiate. The body was placed in the vault at Ogdensburg Cemetery.
