She married William S. King on Jan. 1, 1946, in Sheridan, Wyo.
She attended public schools in Brighton. Mrs. King was a homemaker. She lived in Brighton from 1947 to 1985, when she moved to Longmont. She moved to Loveland in 1993. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church. Her No. 1 hobby was doing crossword puzzles. Her priority was raising her family and being the matriarch. She loved working in her flower gardens.
She is survived by her husband, William S. King; a son, Dennis G. King and wife Paula of Thornton; two daughters, Theresa A. Stearman and husband Rick of Eden, Utah, and Valerie M. King-Boer of Loveland; brothers Constantine Dinkel and Gabriel R. Dinkel of Aurora and Frank Kreitzer of Brighton; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Sunday at Tabor Funeral Home in Brighton. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. Monday at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Brighton. Viegut Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
