"Death of Frank Barbour. Francis Barbour, aged 92 years, died at 5 o'clock Thursday morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John McClure, in Springfield township. The funeral services were held at the McClure residence at 1 o'clock Saturday morning. Interment in Springfield Church Cemetery. Mr. Barbour was born in Ireland, coming to this country with his parents in 1831, landing in New York City, coming from there to Cincinnati and thence to Springfield township where his father purchased ? acres of land, near what is now the village of Springfield."
