Mr. Sherman was born in Portland and graduated from Benson Tech. He worked for some time as a draftsman for the Ray F. Becker Co. in Portland, and for the past four years as a plastic drill operator for Tektronix Co. He was a member of the Foursquare Church.
Survivors are the widow, Arlene; two children, Deanna and David; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. L. H. Sherman, Portland; three sisters, Lyndall Deardorff, Puyallup, Wash., and Jeanne Palmer and Virginia Burbank, The Dalles; a brother, Harry, Portland; and a grandmother, Mrs. Lydia Lang, Portland.
