A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, 2001, in the chapel of River View Cemetery for Myrtle Francis Wallingford, who died Nov. 26 at age 86.
Mrs. Willingford was born Myrtle Francis Lanbourne on June 12, 1915, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. She immigrated in 1923 to Portland and graduated from Jefferson High School. She was an office manager for Portland Wholesale Nursery for 30 years, retiring in about 1980. She married George Caldwell in 1947; he died in 1971. In 1973, she married Philip D. Wallingford; he died in 1997.
Survivors include her brother, Robert F. Lanbourne; nieces; and nephews.
