Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Holy Family Convent Chapel, Manitowoc. The Rev. Julian Resch O.Praem, will officiate and burial will be in the convent cemetery.
Sister George, the former Mary Frances Hazen, was born Oct. 13, 1885, at Limburg, Germany, daughter of the late Peter and Cora Cox Hazen. She entered the Order of Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity July 7, 1906, and professed her vows Aug. 10, 1910. She served the communtiy as a homemaker at Boyd, Potosi, Plymouth, Bloomington, Sherwood, Reedsville, Hollandtown, Hilbert and Clarks Mills, Wis., and Lindsay, Neb. retiring in 1968.
Survivors include the Franciscan Sisters of Christian Charity, a sister-in-law, Mrs. Agnes Hazen of DePere and a niece, Miss Delores Hazen of Green Bay.
Friends may call at the convent 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday. A prayer service will be in St. Mary Chapel at 7 p.m. Pfeffer Funeral Home, Manitowoc, is in charge of arrangements.
