Lloyd was a WWII, U.S. Army Air Corps veteran with the 424th Aviation Squadron and was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross on four different occasions. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Dorothy (Flo) F Farless McKee (met while stationed in Savannah, GA); children, Kathleen Hancock of Oviedo, FL and Steven Lee (Sandra Karnes) McKee of Daytona Beach, FL; 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
