MISS EMMA A. ADAMS DIES IN OREGON
Miss Emma A. Adams, Ashland, Oregon, a former well-known resident of this city, passed away Tuesday, January 18, in Ashland, at the age of 83 years.
Miss Adams was born in Onondago County, New York, in October, 1837, and came to Sheboygan in 1847. She at first settled on Spring Farm near Winooski, later living in Sheboygan Falls and then moved to take up her home with her sister-in-law, Mrs. Emma Adams, also a former resident of this city.
The only survivors are the sister-in-law and two nieces, Mrs. Ruth Adams McAllister, of Oregon, and Miss Louise Adams, DeKalb, Ill., also a nephew, Quincy Adams, of Oregon.
The funeral services were conducted Thursday at Ashland, Oregon.
