COOPERSTOWN, NY — A. Marie Maxim, 100, of The Meadows, Cooperstown died Thursday, Jan. 8, 1998.
She was born March 14, 1897 in Logan, Ohio, the daughter of Wesley J. and Charity L. (Hoskins) Price.
Marie was married to Harold Maxim on Oct. 31, 1922. Mr. Maxim died in 1961.
Marie had lived and worked in and around the Oneonta area for nearly 60 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Betty Jane McQuirt of Hillard, Ohio; seven grandchildren, Raymond Jr. and Robert of Utica, Larry, Sharon and Linda of Tampa, Fla. and Dorothy and Patricia of Columbus, Ohio; and many great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no funeral services at Marie's request.
Mrs. Maxim has been cremated and her cremains will be placed in the Oneonta Plains Cemetery, Oneonta in the spring of 1998.
There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
