Mrs. Ruth M. Fitzpatrick, 69, Junction City, died yesterday following a two-year illness. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was born Nov. 29, 1892, in Ogden and had lived her entire life in and around that community. Her husband, John M. Fitzpatrick, preceded her in death in 1948. Survivors include the following children, Mrs. William Haddock, Chapman; Mrs. Harry Peters, Junction City; Mrs. Helen Ekwall, Mrs. Eldridge Harris, and Mrs. Robert Harmon, all of Houston, Texas; Mrs. Alfred Olds, LaSail, Calif.; and Mrs. Keith Bretz, Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Mrs. Joe Bechtel, Junction City and Mrs. James Rowe, Manhattan; three brothers, James A. Mallon, Reno, Nevada, John Mallon, Cheyenne, Wyo., and Cecil Mallon, Salina; twenty grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Fitzpatrick was a member of the St. Xavier’s Catholic Church in Junction City. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. in St. Xavier’s Church with the Rev. Norman A. Leiker officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Junction City. Recitation of the Rosary will be at 8 p.m. Thursday in the Mass-Hinitt Chapel in Junction City.
