Dorothy E. Baumann, 70, of New Holstein, died Wednesday evening, Oct. 31, at
St. Mary Hospital, Rochester, Minn. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Cletus LaMere will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Baumann was born Feb. 1, 1914, at New London, daughter of the late Michael and Gertrude Theisen Justinger. She was a 1932 graduate of New London High School.
Mrs. Baumann was employed at Salvatorian Center at St. Nazianz and New Holstein for 33 years, retiring June 1, 1980. She was a private secretary for the last 19 years of her employment. She was married to Gerald W. Baumann June 16, 1932. He preceded her in death May 12, 1963. Mrs. Bauman as a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, New Holstein, Marian Circle, Daughter of Isabella and Holy Rosary Christian Mothers Society.
Survivors include nieces, nephews, stepdaughters and stepgrandchildren.
Friends may call at the church from 10:30 a.m. Saturday until the time of services.
Christianson-Deja Funeral Home, St. Nazianz, is in charge of funeral arrangements.
