Breu, Elizabeth nee Filz (Jan. 9, 1899-Sept. 19, 1929 –wife of Theodore Breu [married June 7, 1920 at St. Gregory –after Elizabeth's death in 1929, Theodore re-married to Katherine Gottsacker on Oct. 26, 1940 in Sheboygan –Theodore died Dec. 1, 1956 in Sheboygan County] –daughter of Nicholas Filz and Mary L. Arendt –born Luxemburg, Kewaunee County –"Mrs. Breu was employed in the jewelry department of the Sell Bros. company at Sheboygan for 8 years, and up to the time of her death." –from obit. –died Sheboygan County –died from "fracture of skull, frontal bone –auto accident on Sheboygan County Highway 23" –"Mr. and Mrs. Breu were driving toward Kohler in a small sedan and directly behind them was Peter Ippel in another machine. George Hopp, Sheboygan, was returning to Sheboygan and collided head-on with the Breu machine and all three cars were mixed up in the resulting smash-up. Mrs. Breu was thrown against the front and side of the car and her skull crushed.
