Funeral services will be at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Berge Funeral Home, Valders, and at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz, the Rev. Dennis Cooney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Brunmeier was born Nov. 9, 1890 at Eaton, son of the late John and Mary Kautzer Maier. He was adopted by the late Joseph and Margaret Wimmer Brunmeier of Eaton. He married Margaret Braun Oct. 5, 1915, at Brillion, and the couple farmed near Eaton for 41 years until his retirement three years ago. He was a clerk of the former Five Corners School for 12 years, and a charter member of the Holy Name Society of St. Gregory parish.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Lawrence of Kiel and Norbert at home; a daughter, Mrs. A.R. Easton of Marshfield; a sister, Mrs. Peter Leschke of Newton and two grandchildren. A sister and a brother preceded him in death.
Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Friday where the Rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. by Father Cooney and members of the Holy Name Society.
