Norbert J. Brunmeier, age 82, of Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center, 960 S. Rapids Road, Manitowoc, entered eternal rest Monday, Aug. 7, 2006, at Rivers Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center.
Memorial services will be held at 10 a. m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand Avenue. Officiating will be the Rev. Monsignor James Vanden Hogen, with burial of the cremains to follow at St. Gregory's Parish Cemetery, St. Nazianz.
Norbert was born March 23, 1924, at St. Nazianz. He was the son of the late Henry and Margaret Braun Brunmeier. He had been employed with Manitowoc Cranes for many years. Norbert was a member of St. Francis of Assisi.
He is survived by his sister: Marian Eastman. Manitowoc; sister-in-law: Mary Jane Brunmeier, one niece: Mary L. Hansen, Albuquerque, N.M.; foster child: Michael (Frances) Pitz, Kiel; along with other relatives and friends surviving. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother: Lawrence Brunmeier.
Relatives and friends may call at St. Francis of Assisi on Grand Avenue on Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. until the time of service at 10 a.m.
The Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 628 N. Water St., Manitowoc, is assisting the family with funeral arrangements.
