Mary Ann Frasure the daughter of Edmond and Jemima (Fast) Tigner was born July 6, 1861. Departed this life at the Gibbons Hospital December 30, 1945.
On October 12, 1879 she was united in marriage to Thomas Frasure. TO this union were born nine children, eight sons, one daughter, as follows: Charles F. Frasure and John Frasure of New Straitsville, O.; T. J. Frasure and Abel Frasure of Columbus, O.; Samuel E Frasure of Corning, O.; Edmond Frasure of Lancaster, O.; Alton P. Frasure and Margaret Heft of Logan, O. Her husband and one son Lewis preceded her in death. Also she leaves one step-brother; 2 half sisters; 1 step sister; 22 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, besides a host of relatives and friends.
She joined the old United Brethren Church in Marion Township, Pleasant Hill, in her early teens. She later transferred her membership to the United Brethren Church in Logan, O., and attended as long as her health permitted her. She was a good wife and mother. She had many troubles and trials and fought them through by faith in her Lord. She was honest and upright, always lending a helping hand to those in need and sickness. She did all she could. She would have reached the ripe old age of 85 years in July if permitted to live.
