Miss Della Green, 59, a teacher in Ogden and Tooele schools for the past thirty-five years died in a Salt Lake City hospital Sunday, following an illness of six days.
Miss Green was born in Lander, Wyo. June 1, 1876, a daughter of John and Ellen Sullivan Green. She came to Utah when she was 15 years old. She was an active member of St. Joseph's Catholic church in Ogden for many years. Miss Green was a graduate of Sacred Heart Academy and active in the Holy Cross Alumnae association.
She is survived by one brother, Henry J. Green of Ogden.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday morning at ten o'clock in St. Joseph's church with Monsignor D. G. Hunt of Salt Lake City celebrating requiem high mass.
The body will be brought to Ogden Tuesday and will be taken to the home of Mrs. Margaret Feeny, 705 Twenty-fourth street. Friends may call there Tuesday afternoon and evening and Wednesday until time of services. The rosary will be recited at Mrs. Feeny's home Tuesday evening at eight o'clock. Interment will be made in Tooele.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Neil-O'Donnell mortuary, Salt Lake City.
