Connell, William (1854-1908 –husband of Mary Jane Leahy [married June 21, 1880 in Catholic Church in City of Sheboygan –no children came from this marriage] –son of John Connell and Margaret Ryan –born Stoughton, Dane County –farmer in the Town of Liberty –on Jan. 26, 1874, William purchased from his parents the 80 acres of the E1/2 of the SE1/4 of Section 32, Town of Liberty and created a farmstead at 15108 County F –on March 1, 1901, William purchased the 80 acres of woodland in the E1/2 of the NW1/4 of Section 32, Town of Liberty –this land then became part of his farm –Mary lived on this farm until her death on July 16, 1904 –William lived on this farm until his death in 1908 –in the 1900 census for the Town of Liberty, William and Mary are shown living on this farm with their adopted daughter Mandy [age 20] –in the 1905 census for the Town of Liberty, William is shown as a widower living alone on this farm) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 2, Row 5, Lot 12 –stone] [marriage record Sheboygan 5-155] [no county death record]
