GEORGE H. DIEDRICH, 71, of Rt. 1, Valders, died Wednesday at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc, after a short illness.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Christianson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Gregory Putzer, S.D.S., will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.

Mr. Diedrich was born Aug. 27, 1898, at Hilbert, son of the late George and Magdeline Zimmermann Diedrich. He married Cecelia Grenzer June 1, 1926, at St. Elizabeth Church, Kloten. He farmed his entire life and was a member of Holy Name Society.

Survivors include his wife; four sons,Clarence of Whitelaw, Sylvester of Manitowoc, Ray of Valders and Gilbert of R. 1, Valders; two daughters,Mrs. Donald (Theresa) Genishek of Brnach and Mrs. Harvey (Germaine) Potter of Dayton, Ohio; five sisters, Mrs. Catherine Juckem of Chilton, Mrs. Olive Popp of Chicago, Miss Helen of Oshkosh, Mrs. Mary Marx of Hilbert and Sister M. Odelia, S.D.S., of Milwaukee; and 26 grandchildren. Two sons, three brothers, a sister and a grandson preceded him in death.
