ANNIE DIETRICH, 78, lifelong resident of Manitowoc County, died Monday morning at the home of her son, John, in the village of St. Nazianz following a lingering illness.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Frederick Dorn will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
She was born Anna Herr in Meeme in 1873 and in 1911 was married to William M. Dietrich. They located on a farm in that town. She was a member of the Christian Mothers of the St. Gregory congregation. Her husband died in 1950.
Survivors are three sons, John of St. Nazianz, William of Manitowoc and Joseph of Cato; brother, Frank Herr of Sheboygan; and four grandchildren.
Friends may call at the Berge Funeral Home, Valders, after Tuesday evening where the rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
