Dyzbalys, John (July 29, 1869-Aug. 15, 1940 –husband of Anna Marx [married Nov. 8, 1898 in Sheboygan County] –son of Aryo Dyzbalys and Mary –born Lithuania –immigrated to US in 1896, first settling in Sheboygan and working for the Phoenix Chair Company –farmer –in the 1905 census for the Town of Eaton, John and Anna are shown living on a farm with their son John [age 3] and John’s widowed mother-in-law Katherine Marx [age 57] –died from “coronary occlusions –hypertensive heart –myocarditis”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 2, Row 13, Lot 29 –stone] [marriage record Sheboygan 7-570] [death record Manitowoc 33-518]

JOHN DYZBALYS, aged 71, was found dead in bed at his home near Pigeon Lake, in Liberty township, Manitowoc county, on Thursday morning of last week by members of his family. While not in the best of health for some time, his condition was not alarming, as he had spent Wednesday in the village of St. Nazianz, visiting with relatives.
The deceased was born in Lithuania July 29, 1869, and came to this county in 1896, settling in Sheboygan, where he was employed by the Phoenix Chair Company. In 1898 he was married to Miss Anna Marx of St. Nazianz, and the couple then took over the Marx homestead farm, where he passed away. His wife preceded him in death in March, 1936, and a son Joseph, died in April, 1930.
Survivors are three sons, John, Jr., Frank and Edward, all at home, one sister; four brothers, and three grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Gregory's church, St. Nazianz, with the Rev. Fintan Holzknecht officiating. Interment was made in the adjoining church cemetery. - 1940
