ST. NAZIANZ – The sad news reached here last Friday afternoon from Luxemburg, Wis., of the death of Mrs. Anna Filz. She was for many years a resident of St. Nazianz. She reached the age of 78 years. Her husband died two years ago and since that time she stayed with her daughter, Mrs. Daul, where she died. The remains were brought here Sunday afternoon and on Monday a solemn requiem mass was read by Rev. E. Deiblele and two priests from the convent, at St. Gregory’s church. Burial took place in the adjoining cemetery.

Deceased is survived by two children, Nic. Filz of here and Mrs. Daul of Luxemburg; 15 grandchildren and one great grandchild; two brothers, one in Chicago and one in Luxemburg; and a host of relatives and friends.
