Geiser, Barbara nee Halter Kutz (Oct. 28, 1810-April 6, 1888 –wife of Lorenz Kutz [married May 8, 1837] –from this marriage, four children were born, they being Frank, John Baptiste, Martin, and Christina –Lorenz Kutz died on March 17, 1847 –after the death of Lorenz, Barbara re-married to Melchior Geiser [married Sept. 23, 1847 in Ulm, Baden] –daughter of Michael and Katherine Halter –born Sendelbach, Amt Oberkirch, Baden –immigrated to the US on the boat Mary Bangs arriving in the Port of New York on Jan. 28, 1848 in company of her second husband Melchior Geiser, her four children from her first marriage, plus her son with Melchior, that being Franz Xavier Geiser) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 8, Lot 12 –stone] [death record Manitowoc 4-27]
