Gellings, Gertrude (Nov. 2, 1858-Dec. 18, 1936 –single –daughter of Gerhard Gellings and Theodora Breuns –sister of Joseph and Peter Gellings –born Milwaukee County –moved St. Nazianz with her parents in 1868 –deaf and dumb [from 1880 census] –on Jan. 31, 1896 purchased her parents’ house at 100 West Court in St. Nazianz –in the 1905 census for the Town of Eaton, Gertrude is shown living in this house with her brothers Peter, Alois, and John –lived in this house until selling on Dec. 4, 1911 to her brother-in-law Joseph Koenig and his wife Margaret Gellings –on Dec. 6, 1922 inherited the house at 201 West Court in St. Nazianz from the estate of her brother Peter –while living here, rented out parts of the house –lived here until her death in 1936 –died from “acute heart failure –coronary thrombosis”) –buried at St. Gregory Catholic Cemetery in St. Nazianz, Town of Eaton [buried in Section 1, Row 14
