JOSEPH F. GERHARD

Joseph Gerhard, 84, of Rt. 1, Kiel, died Wednesday afternoon at Holy Family Hospital, Manitowoc.
Funeral services will be at 9:45 a.m. Saturday at Christianson Funeral Home and at 10 a.m. at St. Gregory Catholic Church, St. Nazianz. The Rev. Gregory Putzer, S.D.S., will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Gerhard was born April 3, 1885, in Town of Eaton, Brown County, son of the late Frank and Margaret Ruplinger Gerhard. He was graduated from St. Gregory School, St. Nazianz, and attended Pontifical College of Josephinum at Columbus, Ohio, from 1897 to 1901. He married Flora Dhein May 20, 1913, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Chilton. She preceded him in death Jan. 19, 1966. Mr. Gerhard farmed in the Kiel area. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. Gregory Church.
Survivors include a son, Francis, at home, a daughter, Mrs. Paul (Kathryn) Lamboley, of Milwaukee and a sister, Mrs. Math Meyer, of St. Nazianz. A brother and two sisters preceded him in death.
